A look back at the first year of the project

April 2, 2026 – The goal of the third project meeting was to share the results from the first year of the project, discuss them, and coordinate the next steps.

The team is on schedule with the development of materials for hydrogen storage.  In the first year, the researchers tested a wide variety of samples for their suitability; going forward, they will focus on a few selected samples and optimize them.  The topic of modeling hydrogen storage in both materials (high-entropy alloys and aerogels) was also discussed in detail.

The topic of modeling hydrogen storage in both materials (high-entropy alloys and aerogels) was also discussed in detail. The partners are covering modeling from the microporous scale up to the macroscopic scale. The refueling process is also being modeled using simulation techniques.
